Dole Fruit Crisp
Today’s tasty bite is Dole Fruit Crisp. Flavors such as pineapple mango, apple pear, and apple cinnamon make up this tasty line. They come in a pack of 2 bowls and they are so goooooood!!! I tried the apple cinnamon and it taste just like apple crisp w/o the fat and calories. They have crisp on top and the apples are in the bottom container. You can either eat these warm or cold. I warmed mine up in the microwave for about 20 seconds and then you add the crunchy oat topping, stir it up, and eat.
DRUM ROLL PLEASE……………..they only have 160 calories and 3.5g fat per container. (I think I’m in love!)
I found these at Meijer, in the fruit isle, and when I went up to the self checkout it spit a coupon out for $1.00 off two. So I am definitely going back to get more w/ my coupon. Without the coupon they are a little steep, but, I am going to shop around to see if I can find some better deals on these little cups of goodness. I’m not sure if these will be available everywhere b/c obviously they say new on the package but I tried to Google for some information on them and I can’t find anything.
Also, I am going to look into how much fat free cool whip might be on top of these. That would make it even better and the taste over the top.
Eat Up!!

Just picked up 2 of these at Publix this morning. Can't wait to try them after reading your review!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I hope you love them as much as I do! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI just tried the pineapple mango warmed, it was pure comfort food!
ReplyDeleteI liked them alot, but I found them hard to open
ReplyDeleteTHESE THINGS ARE HARD TO OPEN BUT THEYRE SO GOOD BUT ITS A BATTLE TO OPEN THEM I SHOULD WRITE A LETTER TO DOLE AS A MATTER OF FACT HOW I GOT TO THIS PAGE IS BECAUSE I WAS TRYING TO OPEN ONE THEN I SEARCHED IT UP "DOLE GRONOLA HARD TO OPEN" AND OTHER PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AND APPLES FROM CHINA AMERICA SHOULD BE A SHAMED -_- WHY WOULD I WANT TO EAT APPLES FROM CHINA
DeleteHahaha!! I found them really hard to open too. I thought it was just me!
ReplyDeleteBoy, these really are tasty! And I am hard to please when it comes to apple crisp!
ReplyDeleteI picked them up and was going to buy them tonight but when I saw that they were produced with apples imported from China, I put them back on the shelf. It is bad enough that we can't buy toys, clothes, etc that are produced in the US anymore but now our food is being outsourced as well? Won't be buying Dole products again!
ReplyDeleteok I thought it was me, they are hard to open lol, but it's worth the wait, hmmmmmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteI just tried this for the first time today, and they are SO good. I had the Apple Pear. I'm on the weight-loss journey too so I was looking for some great food alternatives. I found your blog searching for the Fruit Crisps to share with my friend. I look forward to following your progress.
ReplyDeleteI just tried the apple/pear one today, and it was heavenly. I bought them just because they looked appetizing, and now looking at the nutrition facts, Im glad I did. Warming them up is definitely the way to go.
ReplyDeleteI can't stop eating them! Over the last few days I bought all of the Apple Crisp flavor at my local grocery store! They are soooo yummy!
ReplyDeleteCan someone tell me is there a trick to opening theses? I love them, but I have to practically tear the package apart to get them open. My mother always said "It can't be that difficult or no one would buy it." These are that difficult.
ReplyDeleteReally hard to open. They should really re-think this package. Sorry to hear the apples come from China.
ReplyDeleteI can't open these mother fuckers!!! Good GOD!
ReplyDeleteThese sons of bitches are hard as hell to open but ohhhh so worth it!!!
ReplyDeleteNice language, babe!
ReplyDeleteI CANNOT OPEN THIS AT ALL..WAS READY TO ENJOY ONE..LOUSY EXPLANATION ON HOW TO OPEN. I POKED, PUSHED, PULLED, KNIFED THE CONTAINER AND IT STILL DIDNT WORK..ITS BACK IN THE PACKAGE ON WAY BACK TO THE STORE. NO MORE FOR ME.IM SURPRISED THE DOLE PEOPLE DIDNT THINK IT THROUGH.
ReplyDeleteSo delicious but way too hard to open.
ReplyDeleteActually, there is a trick to it. I will find out what it is (my sister knows) and report back. I don't like dealing with food that is too hard to get at!!! My sister easts these things all of the time...
ReplyDeleteWHOOPS! That should be My sister EATS these things all of the time, not EASTS!!!
ReplyDeleteWhoops! That should be EATS these things all of the time, not EASTS!!!

ReplyDeleteThe trick is to pull up the tab below the lid and it will help open it. I love these snacks, I cant get enough of them!!!
ReplyDeleteThe container is very hard to open, the apples are mushy and the Oat meal looks pale and tastes horrible. Also why cannot buy apples grown in the USA, like good old New York State apples. Also, if you check www.dole.com you do not see China as a country where Dole buys its fruit!
ReplyDeleteMaybe the reason they are so hard to open is so that we can burn our calories before we eat them! LOL! Although I had one the other night and it about ripped the skin off my fingers. I think they may need to tame down the plastic on the lid part and keep the tough plastic for the bottom. Not sure though!
ReplyDeleteI just bought these and of course, threw away the box with the directions, so I followed your directions for heating - so yummy!! Mine had a nifty "Lift Here" tab; no doubt because at some point, someone realized how many people were having a hard time getting to the fruity goodness. I absolutely love apple crisp; don't know how I never saw these on the shelf before!
ReplyDeletewhere can i buy this? my walmart and target doesn't carry this product! hellllpppp i really wanna try this.lol
ReplyDeleteJust bought these at Sobey's - didn't know about them but they were in the weekly flyer - for 2 packages for $5. I bought 4 - just tried the peach one (warmed up), and yes, it's a bit difficult to open, but it is delicious and surprisingly filling!!!
ReplyDeleteThese do taste pretty good, but they are also quite steep and don't support our local agricultural community. I had recently decided to start saving money and supporting our local farmers by making my fruit snack at home using jello, cut fruits and granola in bulk. I just didn't know what containers I was going to use... until now! These will work perfectly! So I'm only going to buy enough so that we can keep a set of maybe 8 (or so) cups, use the granola holders as lids, and go to town each week reusing the containers for our family's fruit snack needs. I feel so domesticated! LOL
ReplyDeleteI was all set to enjoy a peach crisp, but I couldn't get it open. The pull up tab tore loose - through it away.
