Pump up that temptation

I was reading about what one lady did with her Jell-O Temptations to make them a satisfying little dessert. She added cool whip, slice almonds, and some french twists. Then she said that you could even layer the different mousses together to get different flavors. That sounds interesting.

Thanks (robynsworld)

Jell-O Mousse Temptations

I bought these Jello-O Mousse Temptations, Chocolate Indulgence. I was expecting it to be very yummy and a snack I would be craving! But, instead I'm really not a big fan of them. They are sort of bland and I really do not like the texture. I read numerous other reviews and everyone seems to like them. So, I decided I better try another cup. Right now I'm sitting here eating another cup and I really don't see what the big deal is. Not a big fan of these little cups. If you do try them and you like them they only have 60 calories and are sugar free ....... WooHoo! Maybe these will grow on me?!

Special K Fruit Crisps

Where can you go wrong with these little fruit flavored pastries you ask? The answer is NOWHERE! These Special K Fruit Crisps are so good. When I saw the box, it sort of took me by surprise because the picture and the word "crisp" made me think of a cracker. So, I wasn't expecting a lot out of these little wafers. Especially because I am not a fan of the Special K line.

When I opened the first pouch I was surprised that you got two crisps for 100 calories, I didn't read the box, and they weren't wafers like I thought. I take my first bite and my palette was pleasantly surprised. These taste just like a strawberry poptart. And, believe it or not there is quite a bit of filling in them. They are not really dry, sort of a chewy texture. So far I have only tried the strawberry, because I am not a #1 fan of blueberry. Eat Up!!

Great Value Sucky Flavored Bars

Today's Daily Bite-Down is........Great Value Vanilla Flavored Ice Cream Sandwiches. (97% Fat Free) *these are the Wal-Mart Brand.

On my last shopping trip I went down the ice-cream isle looking and praying I could find something that would be an inexpensive guilt free treat. I came across these delicious looking ice-cream bars. Looked at the nutrition facts, thought, "not bad" and threw them in my cart.

The next day I decide to have a snack so I go to the fridge, couldn't find anything. Open up the freezer, and aaahhh,(heaven sounds) there were my ice-cream bars I bought. I open the box, take a sandwich and rip the paper off. My mouth is watering.... I can not wait. Yum, I'm thinking. I take a bite and my mouth said something else. So, I chew that bite up swallow and think well, maybe my mind and mouth need to taste this again to get a true register of the taste. After all, how can these be bad!! Look at the picture on the box!! Well, I keep taking bites and nothing is getting better. I got so mad that I threw it out. Took the box out, looked to make sure there was a 100% satisfaction guarantee, on them and then returned them. They should not be allowed to sell these nasty bars!

The ice-cream in the bar isn't bad it is just that nasty chocolate whatever it is on the outside that taste so bad. I can't even describe how bad this sandwich tastes!! Lesson learned...........looks ARE deceiving.

Fiber One 90 Calorie Bars

I have been eating this Fiber One 90 Calorie bars over the week and I have come to really like them. So, todays daily bite-down is............... Chocolate Peanut Butter Fiber Bars. At first I was hesitant to buy them for two reasons. Reason 1 the price b/c a box only contains 5 bars, and ,reason 2 I really do not get into granola bars. The only ones I like are Kudos, Quaker covered in chocolate, and Sunbelt bars. HA! all bars that are loaded with great amounts of fat and calories. But these bar were on sale last week @ Target for $2.33 plus I had a coupon for 40 cents off. So it brought them down to about $2.00 a box.

I think these bars are really good. They do not taste dry and mine were really chewy. But, if you don't like peanut butter these probably are not the bars for you, b/c on the bottom of the bar there is a layer of peanut butter.........YUM!!! They also have another flavor which is, Chocolate.

All in all these bars round up pretty good. They have 5 grams of fiber and they taste pretty darn good. Happy bites!!

GO HERE FOR 40 CENT/1 COUPON FOR FIBER BARS

My Rating: 8
Buy Again: Definately will

Pepperidge Farm Deli Flats

The Bite-down today is................ Pepperidge Farm Deli Flats. These rolls are made to substitute bread. Usually I do not like these types of bread substitutes b/c I LOVE bread and carbs, but these are really really good. And, the best part is that they only have 100 calories per roll and are an excellent source of fiber. So far I have only tried the 7 grain but, they also have 100% whole wheat and whole grain white. Go out and try them and have a good bite!!

Go (here) for some recipes that use these deli flats.

I have been reading and there is a competitor's brand called Arnold Select/Orweat Sandwich thins. From what I am reading they are supposed to be better tasting, but hard to find. So, I'm going to look long and hard so that I can decided. Let me know if you come across them somewhere. I need to put this through the final "bite-down" (haha)

Dole Fruit Crisp

Today’s tasty bite is Dole Fruit Crisp. Flavors such as pineapple mango, apple pear, and apple cinnamon make up this tasty line. They come in a pack of 2 bowls and they are so goooooood!!! I tried the apple cinnamon and it taste just like apple crisp w/o the fat and calories. They have crisp on top and the apples are in the bottom container. You can either eat these warm or cold. I warmed mine up in the microwave for about 20 seconds and then you add the crunchy oat topping, stir it up, and eat.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE……………..they only have 160 calories and 3.5g fat per container. (I think I’m in love!)

I found these at Meijer, in the fruit isle, and when I went up to the self checkout it spit a coupon out for $1.00 off two. So I am definitely going back to get more w/ my coupon. Without the coupon they are a little steep, but, I am going to shop around to see if I can find some better deals on these little cups of goodness. I’m not sure if these will be available everywhere b/c obviously they say new on the package but I tried to Google for some information on them and I can’t find anything.

Also, I am going to look into how much fat free cool whip might be on top of these. That would make it even better and the taste over the top.

Eat Up!!

Reese's 100 Calorie Candy Bar

Alright so today’s top bite is……….Reese’s 100 calorie Peanut Butter Wafer Bar!!
These little candy bars are so delicious, definitely do not taste like anything diet. A pack of these has two sticks that are just enough to kick that sweet tooth. And......the best part is they only have 100 calories per pack!! The only downfall I found with these is that they have a pretty high fat count, 6 grams, for the pack.

I found the little single packs at the check lane with all the candy bars for 69 cents each, but I did not price the boxes out. I thought that 69 cents was a little pricey, but I wanted to try them.

It looks like they have some different varieties of these wafer bars and you can view the nutrition facts for each. Go (here) to check it out.

**Let me know if you come across these and try them.**

Have a great chew!! (that’s pretty cheesey! HA! )
