Here are some reasons I am looking forward to losing weight. Some are good-byes, not gonna miss ya, and some are hello, can't wait to meet ya.
1. Being able to cross my legs when I sit
2. To not have a big chest! I hate when people make comments(ok, capt. obvious) and I always feel so self conscious like people are staring or talking about them!
3. Having that feeling where you put on a old pair of jeans and they fit loosely. I swear that is the best feeling ever!
4. Having a social life
5. Being able to sit somewhere and not be uncomfortable ~ chairs, cars, etc.
6. No more feet swelling.
7. Getting rid of my double chin and fat face!
8. Healthy complexion and skin, I am starting to have issues with every type of face lotion I use. It burns my face and my skin has been really dull and I have had a lot of blemishes. I am 27 years old why am I still getting zits! Ugh!
7. I love high heels. I just can't wear them right now b/c I'm too fat
and I look RIDICULOUS........Here comes the rolly polly GIANT!
8. My favorite Bath and Body works scent is Plumeria (only can be found in the outlets)
9. I like to have a variety of bodywash, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, hair sprays and laundry detergents to use on a daily basis.
My Favorite is a tie between this Tide plus Febreze Spring & Renewal and ERA original.
My all time favorite fabric softner is Downy Simple Pleasures Water Lilly Radiance. The last I checked they don't make this anymore. Booo! But, when I was looking around I saw that K-Mart carries it, but the bottle looks different. I need to check it out.
10. I am fascinated by old
architecture, older homes, and homes in general - decorating, tours, fixture, furniture, ...... just
everything! I like to find "Diamonds in the Ruff" and imagine what they
could be if had unlimited funds to revive them back to their prime.
11. I love to coupon and drive a good bargain!
12. I like to scrapbook every so often.
13. I live in sweatpants, hoodies, and flip flops.............they are just my thing!
14. Excited American Horror Story is back on.
15. My favorite movies are chick flicks.
16. I want/need to lose weight!
17. I hate when people scrape their forks against their teeth when they eat.
18. Really want hair extensions.
19. Love shoes!
20. Wish Sparky was a girl so that I could dress "her" up in bows and little frilly outfits.
21. Hate when people talk loudly on a regular basis.
22. Suck at job interviews.
23. Homebody
24. Don't like when people brag.......tell me about your life, don't Brag about it. I believe their is a fine line!
I know it's weird that I started a diet on Thursday, but I felt like it was now or never! So this week here are my goals....
1. Be a little bit more active or less sedatary
2. Track everything that goes in my pie hole!
So, I challenge everyone to track and be active with me! I am still sticking with my original goal weight of 5 pounds a month as posted here. (Revision of list to come) So, on that note, Good Luck and all of you have to help keep me accountable! :)
Here are some of my wants that I hope to accomplish soon or just want out of life. Sometimes I just feel like things are so unobtainable. I'm sitting here with no job, I'll 25 years old in September, and I feel like a complete loser who cries herself to sleep every night. I realize that there are much worse off people out there but it doesn't comfort me any. I feel like my life is wasting away and I have no way of making it better. So, I compiled a list last night of things that I truly want and want to do. Here it is..........
1. LOSE WEIGHT
2. OWN A BUSINESS
3. To visit again and live in Benalmadena Spain
4. Help the homeless
5. Learn to fluently speak a foreign language
6. Own a swimming pool
7. Volunteer to make a difference
8. Help Save dogs – Open a dog sanctuary
9. Learn to play piano
10. Live in a different state
11. Wish I could have met Mother Teresa
12. Be successful
13. Buy a Nikon Camera and take amazing pictures
14. Take a cake decorating class
15. Finish all my scrapbooks

*The times are all messed up on these pictures, I have no Idea*
This is a new year, a new decade, and time for some new changes. One change is that I plan to lose weight. Recently, I was trying to put a Myspace page together and I took some pictures of myself. I looked at them and my thoughts were “Woof, Buzz’s girlfriend”. LOL! I felt like that girl in the picture from Home Alone. Completely Awful feeling! So, I realized I needed a drastic change.
Over the years my weight has gone up and up. When I started college I started to gain the weight. And, before I knew it, over the course of fours years, I had gained one hundred pounds. It has really affected me socially and mentally. Right now I am at a point in my life that something needs to change for my well being, not only physically, but mentally. I find myself not being happy with anything I do, not happy with myself, my life in general. I’m hoping that if I can lose the weight and feel better about myself I can then feel more confident to finally find a “career” and not just a job that I hate going to everyday.
So, my goal for this blog is for me to be accountable for my actions and my eating habits. I think that if I am sharing this with everyone I am going to be more likely to follow along and actually “CHANGE” instead of trying temporary fixes, that DON’T work. Well, I wish the best of luck to all who are following and I know we can do this together and hold everyone accountable. Let’s make this the year of change.
My name is Emily and I’m 27 years old. I have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and I have been out of school since May of 2008. I live in a small town in Ohio with my boyfriend and our vivacious Italian Greyhound, Duster and our little rescue mutt Sparky. My main hobbies right now are couponing and now the glorious project of losing weight. (enough to make me happy)
