Applebee's ~ Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp

I just have to share with you that Applebee's Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp is so delicious!  This meal fits so well with my diet plan.  I ordered it with a side salad and no seasoning or butter sauce.  I was really surprised how good it was without all the yummy melty butter and I loved the sautéed mushrooms and onions.  But, the best part has to be that it is on the 2 for $20 menu (regular menu price $11.69)!  How Awesome.  Good Job Applebee's!

"Cajun-seasoned chicken breast grilled and served on a sizzling skillet with blackened seasoned shrimp, garlic and thyme. Served with fried red potatoes and sautéed onions & mushrooms."

Awesome Sargento Cheese Coupon ~ Light String Cheese!

Over at coupons.com they have a coupon good for $0.55/1 Sargento Natural Cheese Product (5 oz. or larger).  This would make a great deal on Sargento String Cheese paired with a sale.  Be on the lookout.  This is my favorite string cheese as seen here!

Olive Garden: $5 off any 2 Lighter Fare Entrees!

If you head over to facebook.com and "like" them to get  a coupon e-mailed to you for $5 off any 2 Lighter fare entrees!  How cool that Olive Garden is offering a lighter fare menu!  Maybe that will balance out the twenty bread sticks I eat before the meal comes.

The Seafood Brodetta looks and sounds really good.  I just don't understand why they would give ciabatta bread as a side when you get their bread sticks.  Go here to view their light fare menu.

Parmesan Popcorn ~ Under 60 Calorie Snack!

This Parmesan Popcorn weighs in at only 56 Calories per cup! Yummy!  Here's How to Enjoy.........Take 1 cup air-popped popcorn tossed with 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder and 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan.  (from health.com and health magazine)

BigLots: Muscle Milk Low Calorie Lean Muscle Protein Bar ~ ONLY $0.50 !

Yogurt Cake = Warm Delights

Click To Enlarge - Go Here for Betty Crocker Website

The recipe for yogurt cake I posted about earlier, go here to see, I couldn't really put my finger on what it tasted like.  I knew I had something similar to it.  Last night as I was walking through the grocery store ......the light bulb came on and shined like a spotlight right to the Betty Crocker Warm Delights.  Yes, that is right, the remix on this cake taste like one of those bowls that have a ton of calories and fat in it.

Oooey Gooey Yogurt Cake (remix)

The other weekend I tried a recipe from Hungry Girl where she takes 1 box cake mix and cup of fat-free greek yogurt and makes a cake.  Go Here for the recipe.

Well, I didn't have a boxed cake mix so I improvised and used a Jiffy Chocolate Muffin mix instead.  And, to my disbelief it turned out to be a very tasty dish! But, dumb me didn't take pictures.  When I was making it I thought it would be a real flop.  This is what I used......

1 Box Jiffy Chocolate Muffin Mix w/ Chocolate Chips
1 Cup Water
1 Tub of Chocolate Dannon Fat Free Greek Yogurt - Go here for coupon $0.50/2 or $1/2

Put the very runny mixed ingredients in a 9x13 pan that is sprayed and bake for about an 1 hour till gooey in the middle with a crunchy top.

* Plus, it only cost me about $1.77 to make this!

Brummel & Brown Spread ~ Only $0.10 at Target

According to Hip2save.com she posted here and here that the Brummel & Brown Spread 15 oz. tub is on sale at Target this week for $0.10.  I have not confirmed this, it may be regional, but if you live close to a Target I would suggest making a quick trip to check it out.

Hungry Girl uses this in a lot of her recipes in the place of margarine/butter, due to the fact that is made with yogurt.  I just bought a tub of this at Meijer last week and I believe I paid around $2.00 for it.  So, this would be an AWESOME deal if you can grab one!

Aldi's Thin Bread

I wanted to share that a while back I saw sandwich thins similar to Arnold Selects and those mentioned here at Aldi's.  They were actually really good and I didn't notice any difference in taste, plus, they were about 1/2 the price of the name-brand.  I'm thinking they were only priced around $1.49 per pack.

RE-BODY Challenge ~ HURRY FREE @ GNC

WOW! How Exciting! Normally I do not like to post about facebook offers that are not going to be obtainable for everyone, so when this offer first came up I didn't post about it.  But, I just received an e-mail from RE-Body because I "liked" them on facebook and basically they are saying that they had such a huge response that they are offering this FREE sample again!  Here is what it reads...............

In less than 12 hours last Monday, 10,000 of you signed up to try RE•BODY SafSlim^® and RE•BODY Hunger Chews^™. We were so impressed with this response, we decided to extend the offer to an additional 10,000 fans so they too could join the RE•BODY revolution!

Don’t forget to take the personalized coupon code you received on Facebook to your local  store to pick up your products and get started today!

I am not sure if this is still going on or if they have reached their maximum number of "Likes" on facebook, Unfortunately I can't tell b/c I already liked them, but I would definitely give it a try! GO HERE You will get two coupons when you like them - a FREE bottle of SafSlim and a bag of Hunger Chews.  All you have to do is take the coupons to your local GNC store and you will get these free items!  YAY!

OF COURSE, I had to try this out last night.  I headed to GNC and low and behold they had these in stock and I got 1 bottle of SafSlim Delicious Berry Cream Fusion and Mandarin Orange Hunger Chews.  I'm so excited!  The cashier at GNC said that she has never seen such a great give-away before.  Basically, these were about $30.00 products.  So a value of $60 ......FREE!   I can't wait to try these out!  I hope they don't taste like crap.  According to the directions you only have to take a tablespoon twice a day, so if it is yuck tastic you can chase it with something.

Let me know if you are able to get a hold of the coupon or if you get your free products!!! Yay!
